I bought one box right before the Christmas and it didn't arrive before Christmas which was sad...but I decorated my yard after Christmas day with a couple of animated angel ornaments. It transformed my yard totally magical and looks very beautiful. I think the price is a bit over priced and could be cheaper but I've looked all over the internet and other stores and there's nothing like this for sale. The sears was selling this for nearly $200!!! so amazon price was not indeed too bad...
I thought about buying other Christmas lights that is much cheaper than this and covering other area of my yard mimicing the effect of it because one box was not enough to cover my entire yard however the fact that this lawn lights systems comes with yard stakes for every little lights and the space between each lights are just right length to make the yard look pretty....so I thought I should invest little more $ to make my yard look perfect...I decided to order another box from amazon.com...(-:
I'm now looking forward for the next Christmas and maybe meantime I can use the lawn lights in my back yard to enjoy the spring and summer time out in my deck looking down on the beautiful night filled with lots of fire-flies illuminations! I think this lawn lights can be used and enjoyed for other purposes other than just as a Christmas ornament such as weddings, romantic summer time fun, and etc...
If anyone who wouldn't mind spending little extra $ to create something pleasant in ones surroundings, this is one of the beautiful items to add to ones life for sure.
I give only 4 stars because I still think it could be just a little cheaper than $65...(-;

These lights worked great for three days. As I was setting up the lights a neighbor walked by and commented on how great they looked. I was immediately happy with the effect that they were having on the locals. Three days later after a light drizzle the power of the LED bulbs dropped by more than 50%. They were now so dim that they could not be seen from more than 10'-20' away. The wow effect had officially left the building. After two weeks the lights have failed to return to full strength and thus they were returned.
My question to the creator is "how do you design outdoor lawn lights that are negatively effected by moisture?" Even my regular LED outdoor Christmas lights never lost power after heavy rain, snow, icing, etc. Not worth any amount of money if they do not work.

So I bought the larger (1) set with spacing of about 10'. I think they are fairly awesome. I'm pretty sure we were the only folks with them in town probably. I didn't see any, any where else. Wish I had bought several strings though. They are kind of expensive for what they are but I'm still glad I got them. Hopefully I can purchase another set or two this next Christmas season. Set up and take down was a breeze. Certainly easier with another person but it can be done alone with ease, just more time. Overall, I was very satisfied with the product if not the price. (sometimes cool is expensive!) JT
